Location and Driving Directions
From Downtown Orlando Area
From downtown Orlando, go west on the East-West Expressway (SR 408) until you come to the Florida Turnpike, which is where the East-West Expressway (SR 408) ends.
Go north on the Turnpike, which is your only option, until you come to the Leesburg/Tavares exit which is also marked as exit 285 and is the exit for SR 19 and Hwy. 27. This exit comes after the second Clermont exit.
After going through the tollbooth, turn left on Hwy. 27 and immediately get into the left lane. Turn left at the very first road which is CR 19 North, towards Howey-in-the-Hills.
When you enter Howey, please observe the speed limit signs because the town strictly enforces them.
There is one blinking light in town followed by a full traffic light in front of the main Mission Inn Golf and Country Club sign. At this light, keep in the left lane which is the start of CR. 48. From this intersection, go straight on and you will find Robertson Road 3.2 miles ahead on the right directly across the highway.
From South Orlando Area
From the south side of Orlando, take I-4 to the Florida Turnpike and go north to the Leesburg exit. Then follow instructions as given in Option One.
From North Orlando Area
If you live on the north side of Orlando, this can be a slightly quicker way to Yalaha, but you will have to follow the directions carefully.
Take Hwy. 436 west to Hwy. 441 and head north. After the towns of Apopka, Plymouth, and Zellwood, but before you reach Mount Dora, look for CR 448 (Sadler Road) going towards Lake Jem. There is a Texaco Station on the left at this intersection.
Turn left on CR 448 (Sadler Road) and go approximately 2.9 miles.
Turn right to stay on CR 448 and continue 5.9 miles.
Turn left on Florida State Road 19 South and continue 3.3 miles. You will cross Lake Harris before your next checkpoint, which is the traffic light at the Mission Inn Golf & Country Club. This is the intersection with CR 48.
Turn right onto CR 48 and continue 3.2 miles. You will see the Yalaha Bakery on your left. Directly across the road is Robertson Road. Take a right onto Robertson Road.
